Test ride these today, zx 6, zx 10 and zx 14

Kawaski doing a demo so took a few bikes out for a spin.

Tried to use my new harness for the go pro but as i leaned down on the zx 14 and wind at 280kph the camera was point at tank, got a better one of zx 10 which will upload when i get a chance.

White one is the zx 6 and has same Hp as my ninja 1000

The little green bike in photo 2 in the 2013 ninja 300cc SE, was a nice little bike

Jealous.
I really want to try out the Ninja 300 and ZX-6R. The only type(s) of bike I've never been on is a (super)sport bike and I want to try one out. I've never seen any type of demo ride in my area other than for dirt bikes.

Hey PSORngr,

I was thinking you lived around the Atlanta area. If so, Kawasaki USA has had demo rides on their streetbikes for the last three or so years right outside of Roswell.

Start checking the "Events" section at Kawasaki.com in a few weeks for a schedule or look for it on their homepage. The demo's are callled Good Times Street Demo Days.

If you come down to Bike Week at Daytona in March they are gonna have a line of the new 300's and a line of the 636's besides all the regular streetbikes for demo's.

@Kiwi: So that's it? No commentary to go with the video? Did ya like 'em? Gonna add a supersport to the stable to keep the Versys company?

@PSORngr: I was about to say what oldkawboy said. Watch the events section on the Kawasaki website. It only goes up to Daytona in March so far, but they have been doing a lot of events with the demo fleet in recent years. Good excuse to hit a rally or show so you can try out a few bikes. Get there and sign up early.

Whitehorse Press is going out of business so it's time for a final sale. Signed copies of my book are now $10 with free shipping in the U.S. while they last.

Comment on the super toys, "not for me" I did take the zx 14 up to 280kph but does not really spin my wheels, it was just a kawasaki road show and i have a good relationship with my local bike shop so was even test riding after the shop had closed while the owner was still working after hrs.

It made me appreciate my Z1000SX or as you guys call it the Ninja 1000 as it has more than enough firepower to keep those super sports honest especially in the low to mid range and is a lot more comfy riding around town or open highway.

I've ridden the new 300. It has the looks, decent ergos, flickable, but you really have to spool it up to get going. Definitely not even a fraction of the comfort of the gen 1 Ninja 250 though. The SE bike will be confused with the ZX6 by unsuspecting young ladies if that is one of the reasons you are considering it.

The SS bikes just don't work for me. I have to look over my glasses or strain my neck to ride them and you don't want to be around me if I am not looking through my glasses. LOL!

Sitting here in the cold and snow of a Canadian Winter, looking at your sunny pictures of your day at the Motorcycle Buffet. Soooo nice. Looks like a lot of fun.

I had an '09 Ninja 250r for 2 years and really enjoyed it, I'd love to try a 300.

Always trust your cape.
