Agree, those are some great shots, worthy to be included in RE marketing.

What kind of range do you get on a full tank?

Thanks. I am still breaking it in but if I average 70 mpg I will get 280 miles before walking.

The front tank guards / fairing holder is designed to hold two 1 gallon fuel cells to extend the range for those travelling in remote areas, and then of course you can add more fuel cells on the back rack. Take a look at Itchy Boots later videos to see how loaded down she is. Of course she is probably 125 lbs. so that gives her more luggage capacity.

I just read this thread on adjusting the valves on the X300.
https://www.kawasakiversys.com/forum...heck-x300.html

So glad I chose the Himalayan over the X300.

Clearance check on the Himalayan:

Let bike sit overnight so it is cold.

Pull gas tank
(1) quick disconnect from fuel pump
(2) disconnect electrical connection to fuel pump
(3) remove seats using key lock release
(4) remove two bolts at back of tank.
(5) lift tank, disconnect electrical connection to fuel level, and pressure release hose
(6) put tank aside.

Open inspection caps for the intake valve and the exhaust valve.

Check clearance.

If needed adjust by loosening locknut and turning adjuster.

Reverse and ride somewhere for lunch.
