Mike's Museum

My old racing buddy Mike has quite a collection of cool bikes.

Several are housed in his house...yep Mike is a bachelor.

Grabbed some pics last week cuz he is in the process of selling most of them.

Back in the day he raced the Metisse BSA and the Montesa 360.

I really like the suzuki x6 hustler. It and the suzuki x5 invader were my favorite bikes when I was a kid.

the A65 was the best looking engine of the day, but more finicky that Triumph when tuned up. the magneo is pretty rare these days. the T-bolt head kinda doesn't go with the Spitfire/Matisse but is easier to tune. the side cover is '62-'65, the valve cover is '67 & prior. I'd take it (even though I've sworn off right side shifters)

if I'm answering your question I assume the basic points have been addressed, such as: did you do a compression test? is it still on fire?

With the handle "Beezerboy" I would expect you would know your BSA's... and you obviously do!

Very astute observation.

I wanted the 2013 Triumph Bonneville Steve McQueen Tribute bike. I would have bought it if my wife had let me put it in the sun room but that was not going to happen. That is a regret. Even without the Steve McQueen "printed" signature it was a cool bike.

For ME, to be a true "Steve McQueen Tribute" Bonnie, it needs to be 650cc and PREFERABLY pre unit-construction.

....or really smart with the proper priorities!

I am a long time single now, but while I was still married I restored a Norton Commando in our back room. I also had a motorcycle gas tank sculpture in the living room. I told her that the fake flowers stuffed in the tank made it a work of art.

I'm not sure why she left me.

I am sorry man, it must hurt when someone you love departs without reason.
