Stelvio 1200

If I had the extra money I would like to own one of these bikes. For some reason I just love ugly motorcycles ,they just seem to work so well.

Well your CD collection looks shiny and costly
How much did you pay for your bad Moto Guzzi
And how much did you spend on your black leather jacket
Is it you or your parents in this income tax bracket?

Now tickets to concerts and drinking at clubs
Sometimes for music that you haven't even heard of
And how much did you pay for your rock and roll T-shirt
That proves you were there, that you heard of them first?

Now how do you afford your rock and roll lifestyle?
How do you afford your rock and roll lifestyle?
How do you afford your rock and roll lifestyle?
Oh tell me

I'm calm like a bomb!

Love Cake and Love Guzzi's, good one Lefty.

I'm definitely liking the Stelvio and am interested in an older Quota that I can Motard out, call it the Quotard .

I can't wait 'til the dealer gets one of these Stelvio's in so I can check it out. That and the V7 Classic.

So I got to sit on one at the motorcycle show in Long Beach and I actually really like it. It's lightweight and really thin unlike many of the Guzzi's I've ridden in the past. Everyone that was there was impressed at how small the bike actually looked and felt.

If I was in the market for a bike like that, I'd have one no question. The other one I really loved was the V7 Classic. It just looked amazing and was small and light as well.

How can you SAY that? Guzzis are great, the retro-er the better. They're instantly distinctive, with the cylinder covers popping out by your knees. Nothing else is like it.

(I don't own an Italian bike. I'd like to. Nothing is cooler. But the logistics are against it. A German or Japanese bike you can count on to work and an American bike you can count on getting service but if a Moto Guzzi craps out on you in say Nebraska, what do you do?)

He's going to play you a dream
Dress you up in chocolate
And finish you with cream
Squeeze you till you're warm and woozy
And then pop you on the saddle of a silver Moto Guzzi

You're a back stabbing Hollywood pimp
Microphone, Silvertone, cellular phone
We know that you're working for the devil
Bitch slap, star map, dinner at Jones

I'm calm like a bomb!

Ya i have to say there Red that was kinda harsh but then each to there own . I own 2 Guzzis and i have to say that yes they are different but unique. I have owned about 20 different bikes in my lifetime and nothing has come close to the guzzi's . they are attention looking for a place to happen , pure sex to drive and all in all Wow ! I have had great fun on the V and will for a while but when the dust settles im pretty sure the Guzzis will be there for the long haul .

Just my 2 cents worth

Actually, I like the retro ones... but that Stelvia is nasty, as is most of their new stuff IMHO. As you say, each to their own, and all the better for it!

I agree with the above. I have had 5 BMW's and and 3 moto guzzi's and traveled all over this US and by far the Guzzi is my favorite and never a single problem. BMW"s had more technoligy and was in the shop many times. If i had a close dealer here i would still have one. Had the Quota and 2 EV 1100's and the EV was the best road bike i have ever owned. GOt to big as i got too old. Versys is fine now. Had over 25 different bikes so far. Not done yet. SO many bikes and so little time.

Yamaha Secca II
1600 Classic-sold
08 Verseys
1986 Corvette

Life is not a practice run. Enjoy each and every day.
