There is a harley living in my garage

A friend of my wife is going seperate ways from her husband so she asked to store her horse gear and her precious HD in our garage.

I just got this space back last night as my son had a car stored there for last 2 months, had the lady on who owns the bike that i would still play darts as there is a dart board where the plywood is and use the HD for a sighter much to her look of horror on her face.

promised her i would throw cover on and now the garage looks tidy again lol

If you never rode a Harley before you should take it for a spin. I hated them until I actually rode one.

Garaged Harley

Kiwi, jus dont let that Harley near your Versys. I know from experience those things can carry a pretty nasty maintenance virus. An STD (sport touring disease) cannot be cured.

Nothing wrong with an H-D, it has a different style of riding. I have a versys and vrod that share space in garage.

I rented an HD on vacation. I agree, the covered photo is the best photo!

It was like riding a loud hippo.

An acquaintance of mine keeps wanting me to ride is Harley....its an older one with huge ape hangers forward controls the whole 9 yards...... I can't even understand how he rides the thing. He always said he could ride my Versys I know he meant the seating position but he couldn't touch the ground and my V is lowered...

I don't hate HD....a friends father has really nice Electra-glide Fire Bike addition...Like riding your easy chair....

I agree, different strokes for different folks. Whatever turns your crank, be it a Harley or a Vespa. When I get too old and geezerish to swing my leg over a bike, I will probably try a scooter....... just before the trike.

I saw a Harley rider the other day wearing a hi-viz jacket and a full face helmet! Neither branded HD!!

Maybe he was storing an HD with his Versys and decided to take the HD out for a quick ride?

The HD is stored in a separate garage away from Ninja 1000 and my very Fast orange thunder from down under Versys which are parked in house internal access garage so they are closer for me to give them a hug each night before I go to bed..

Seriously, it is always a sad thing when this happens with couples. Sorry to hear and I have ridden my share of HD's. Fun all of them.
But really Kiwi, you should not be wearing a yellow vest when you sneak it out for a ride. HD shirt at least.
