2008 Suzuki GSX650F ...cheap...

These were made in 08 and 09 and didn't sell too well...but they are really smooth and are a comfy sport touring bike that can be found at cheap prices...the seat is easy to mod and the handlebars can be changed...I found this 9,000 mile beauty for a song and it is as fast as you like...I put new tires on and it handles pretty good for a 500 + lbs. tank...my 09 Versys handles so much better in the twistys but at hyperspace speeds this 4 cyl. inline is sweet...try one...you might like it...cheers

Looks nice. My cousin has a GSXR 600 which I rode the other day and DID NOT LIKE even a little bit. It's super loud, super fast, and super uncomfortable. The F looks a little different but I don't think it's different enough to redeem the failures of the R, haha!

I had a GSX650F and in so many ways it is a better bike than the Versys. To date, it is the best touring bike I have owned. It was better than my FJR1300. The bikes are unbelievably smooth. They are well planted even in heavy crosswinds. The stock screen delivers smooth air to helmet. They have great range and fuel economy. The brakes are very good. They have a broad torque curve...certainly one that is atypical for an inline 4. They are plenty fast. While they don't cease to be fun in the twisties, the weight and suspension become a little bit of an issue.

They are the best bang for the buck bike on the market.

Sweet bike, it was almost a coin toss between this bike and my V. The dealer had them side by side on the showroom floor. I think I left a trail of drool between the two...

I heard it described as a "lo-res sport bike" and was unmoved, but with a different paint job and some hard cases I'm liking it as a sport-tourer. Interesting!

Look close - the 650F (Bandit) has an upright riding position, just a little more forward than on our Vs. NOT clip-ons.
