Revenge of the Super Sherpa!

Look who's back:
http://www.kawasaki.com/Products/Detail.aspx?id=371
Same as it ever was...

I've been wondering lately if Kawasaki is selling the Ninja 250 at a loss. I mean look at this thing, air cooled, one cylinder, one carb, no fairing, and it's $500 more! Newer dual purpose bikes in this class are going for $5000+.

I'm calm like a bomb!

The sherpa is a cool bike!

But as far as the ninja 250 goes
It probably is more mass produced than any other bike kawasaki makes - I'm sure the 250cc engine it uses is also used all the asian market bikes ...

They make plenty of em, just don't sell em in the states.

And as for price range you have to note that it costs $500 more than the lil Ninja, despite one less cylinder, one less carburetor, one less headlight, and no fairing.
