Super Tenere....

...is apparently coming to the US in 2012! That's great news! Hopefully, someday we will break out of this craptastic cruiser/superbike/mx only market that we've gotten ourselves into.

Super Tenere coming to visit!

It looks like a very cool bike, definitely competition for the BMW GS and KTM Adventures out there. Still very tall, 33" with the Low Seat option.

2012 Tenere in the USA? I'm there duuuuuude! When do we know what colors the 2011 Versys will get?

Yeah, that’s a statistic sample size of 1, category “anecdotal evidence”, but there it is.

It's about time that Kawasaki bumped the Versys up to 800-850 cc. They would sell with a waiting list. I'd be the first in line. I love the V, but a tad more power would be great.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one, but I've never found my V to be lacking in power that I needed. If I really wanted more though, I think Ducati and Triumph both have better options than the $14K Yamaha. Seems to me like the 40 extra ponies isn't worth the cost of an extra 150 lbs.
For that price I'd just as soon get 2 Versys and make one a track bike. Betcha the track time would be worth a whole lot more than 40 HP when it comes to faster speeds on twisty mountain roads.

I agree with you. It's a nice looking bike but at double the price of a *V*, I could not justify the cost. Of course I would have a hard time taking something that expensive off road myself, but that's just me

It seems with a little reworking, you can turn the *V* into a bike that will do most anything you need for commuting or off roading, and not break the bank doing it.

I'm with you, I like the power. It seems to be in the right place, right at my throttle hand when I'm mid turn & cranking it!

But seriously, I agree, the power is good.
