Seat Pad

Is there a seat pad out there that anyone can recommend for the V1? Really don't want to invest in an upgraded seat. A proper fitting pad should do the trick.

For years I've used a $20 seat pad on my Gold Wing from the local auto parts store. Fits perfect, and makes an uncomfortable seat fairly comfortable. And for a lot less $$$ than upgrading the seat.

I bought a Singa pad from Ebay, its a Airhawk type pad, and as my many cross country trips can attest, it works. I had a airhawk which was from another bike, it died after 7 or so years so I shopped for a new one , but the new ones (airhawk) have very low quality so i switched to Singa. They also make Wheelchair pads ect and are very well made.

A company called "Weaver" that makes stuff for horse riding has a nifty looking, well made gel seat intended to put atop a horse saddle.

I saw one of these in a Fleet Farm store and checked it out... it would adapt well to a motorcycle seat application I believe. Not as cheap as the Coleman ATV pads everybody used to get at Wal Mart for their KLR.... but I think this is probably a bit higher tech by the feel of it.

Look in with the horse-leather stuff at a Fleet Farm, or they have them on Amazon, etc., or probably direct from Weaver Leather's site.

$37. with free ship at Amazon. Yeah, again it's a GEL SEAT

A few months ago a gentlemen rode his 650 Versys from Texas to Alaska on one of these. He gave it high praises. I have just over 700 miles on my new 2016 Versys 1000 so far I'm happy with the stock seat.

How does the Coleman style pad accommodate the hump on a Versys then?
