Thank you

The aftermarket sintered metallic (HH) pads are possibly better and cheaper or same price as OEM....

EBC HH
DP Brakes Sport HH Plus
Galfer HH Plus
BikeMaster HH (significantly cheaper than the others but unfamiliar with quality level, BikeMaster is an aftermarket brand that rebrands other manufacturers products)

The main difference in pads from the rider perspective is feel at the lever. Better pads will give more consistent and improved feedback at the lever possibly allowing you to brake harder with more control. Also recommend replacing front brake hoses with steel braided lines and giving the brakes a good bleed job. Be sure to clean caliper pistons (with Q tips) and lubricate/grease sliders at the same time to prevent future brake issues. If you take calipers off the bike to clean and lubricate be sure to use blue loctite on the two attachment bolts when reinstalling as they will loosen up otherwise (I know this from a negative experience) They are already locktited from the factory so will loosen more easily with a little heat applied first.

ONE issue w/ the "HH" pads (which I run on my Vs) is that they WILL reduce the 'life' of your discs.
