Denver area TEST RIDE.

Anybody in the Denver area that would be willing to allow me to do a test ride on their Versys 1000LT. I have a 2014 FJR or a 2014 V-Strom for you to do a test ride also. If so, and you are interested E-mail me @ [email protected]

My dealer let me test ride a Versys 1000LT but it was the ugly Green one I told them I'd buy one if they could get a beautiful Titanium one. It was at the dealership the next day so i traded in my FJR for it.

2009 Blue Versys.

I have done a dealer test ride but it is not long enough, does not allow for riding in the foothill / mountains twisties. I would like to ride one for couple hours to be able to really get the feel of the bike and see if I really want to trade off my FJR or V-Strom. Or maybe just add to the garage fleet.

Bumping this up. I have a 2014 FJR or a 2014 DL650 Wee, or a 2017 Versys X300 for you to test ride IF you have a Versys 1000LT that I can test ride. We can take a ride for a couple of hour or so. If interested give me a shout.

I'm not far from Denver, but only have a V650. Considering the V1k myself as a possible replacement.

Ugly green? Ugly green? Reminds me of the "pest problem" scene from men in black Lol.

I did not think I would like green either but... I actually like it now and get quite a few compliments. Could not pass up the great deal I got regardless of color.

Cheers.

You can register for Kawasaki demo rides at dealers. If you don't find a demo ride event near you, then you can register and the closest dealers will be notified you're looking for it.

Please elaborate on the difference in riding experience between your FJR and the Versys 1000LT. Do you miss the FJR, wishing you had it back?

UPDATE. The Test ride idea has been overcome by events. I went and bought me a 1000LT. Now I can ride as much as I want.
