Picked One Up Yesterday

My local Kawasaki dealer made me a very attractive offer on a 1000LT, and I picked it up yesterday. I have 2 of the 650's, with over 90,000 miles between the 2 of them. It's a great bike, and I had intended to get another, until Eddie tempted me with the bigger one.

Yesterday, the ride was just a low rpm ramble to get home, and it was impressive for how flexible the motor is, light clutch, slick gearbox, and so on. Today, I got it out for a bit more of a ride up to Marin county, and the bike is amazingly easy to ride. So far, nothing to whine about. It needs another click or so of rebound on the rear, but I have really pushed yet, so we'll see.

One can never have too many motorcycles! Marin is a good county to ride in too, or used to be anyway. Well done - and enjoy.

Thanks, it's still is. Fairfax-Bolinas has recently re-opened, and it was sublime.

It's over 3000 miles on it now. It's pretty impressive, and very comfortable. 800+ miles of that 3K came in one day. Just took it in to Catalyst Reaction to have them set the suspension for me, and a new shock will be coming soon (not selected yet). Heated grips and some power sockets are also in the plan.

That motor must be the easiest to use of any bike I've ever owned.
