It would be cool to attend (I live 20 mins away from the fairgrounds), but sadly I work weekends.

Hey Hudson Valley V owners, I think we need a gathering and rip through the lower cats around the reservoirs, maybe up route 10/30, etc one of these days!

One of my favorite runs is in the Catskills: 28A along the southern rim of the Ashokan Reservoir into 42 (Peekamoose) thru the Sundown Forest to the Rondout Reservoir. Itís about 36 miles of mostly turns (just have to keep a sharp eye out for occasional rain washed dirt/sand/gravel here & there).

I havenít seen 30 yet but on the map it looks like a hoot around the Pepacton.

Yes 28a, 44/55 are all nice, but there are so many more county roads in the area. 30 is a blast all the way up to and even past the Sagandaga lake. I have a 200 or 300 mile route around all 5 resevoirs in the area as well, awesome day of riding.

So many great roads in the cats, some can be washed out, especially inside the park, but the V just soaks that stuff up anyway.
