PayPal Gripe

I have not used Pay Pal very much to receive $$, and frankly, I'm not sure I will use them again. On a $395 dollar deposit in the account, they charged me about $25 dollars in fees all told. A $12 service fee for receiving cash, screwed me on the exchange, and will charge a $3 transfer fee for moving the cash into my bank account.

Is it like this for everyone, or just because I'm Canadian? These fees are outrageous! The topper was figuring out they were shorting me on the exchang!

Have been using PayPal for sometime now and no issues. I only use it for payment purpose and not for receiving payment. If you use any online Bank for payment be prepared for some surprise. That,s the way the milking is done

Ya... paying is no issue, receiving cash is where they obviously make their change. I'm always prepared to pay for service, but they are taking about 6.5 percent. About 3% is foreign exchange. That's a lot.

Anyways, gripe over.
