Liberal Societal Destruction

Due to the declining status of our country I thought I would start a gofundme page. I hope you enjoy the political nature. The post below will give you a feel for my thoughts and style.

http://www.gofundme.com/qzwn9g

I am now 63 years old. I have been working since the eight grade. I am extremmely tired of the government stealing the fruits of my labor. So I thought I would do what the liberals do, live of the fruits of someone elses labor. If you are so inclined please donate a few cents to a few dollars, so I too can live the life of the rich and famous like our president who has done nothing but suck off the public tit. I hope you will donate as I truely need to retire. Thank you for your interest.

We the people sit by idle while our country is being destroyed from within. As the world turns the future will show our complacency lead to our downfall. They came for my money and I did nothing. They came for my religion and I did nothing. They came for my borders and I did nothing. They came for my laws and I did nothing. They came for my freedom and I did nothing. They have taken all and now you have nothing. No control over your money, laws that are passed, religious freedom, or border control. You are a worker drone without a brain. You are to follow the orders of the perpetually elected as they pursue a utopian dream leaving you a burned out husk on the wayside mesmerized by the electronic gadgetry constantly swirling about. Welcome to your idle world.

Modern Slavery,
How much of the fruits of one’s labor needs to be taken from modern man before he becomes a slave. The governments, local, state and federal all take a share of our industry. In the feudal system serfs were given use of land in exchange for a portion of what they produced. Tenant farmers had a similar agreement with the land owners in early colonial times. Both were thought of as poor and without control over their destiny. When this country was founded individualism and self-determination were highly valued as evident by the Bill of Rights. In modern times, you may own your property as long as you can pay the taxes even though the price of purchase has long been paid. Governments levy taxes in every increasing amounts and the portion that the individual is allowed to keep is ever shrinking. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the individual. The industriousness of the individual is used to support slothfulness. Rewards are given for undesirable behavior and irresponsibility. The federal government is spending money on social engineering programs at a rate which can never be repaid. No longer is the individual in control of their destiny. Life, liberty and purist of happiness are words without meaning. We have become slaves to the governments who control us through relentless taxation, legislation, and regulation. The government no longer serves man, but man serves the government.

Glenn Beck came for your brain and you did nothing.

Just a few facts.

Obama permanently lowered your federal tax rate.

Churches are still one of the few tax exempt business there is. IOW, they are paying nothing, but getting all the rewards of living in the USA.

The number of border patrol agents increased dramatically between fiscal years 1993 and Sept. 30, 2012. (So did spending.) Nationwide, the peak year was in 2011 with 21,444 agents -- the number dropped slightly to 21,394 in fiscal year 2012.

In February 2011, a GAO report about the border presented a mixed picture of progress.

The report states that between fiscal years 2005 and 2010, the number of border miles that had fences increased from about 120 to 649.

The Economist in February 2014:

America is expelling illegal immigrants at nine times the rate of 20 years ago; nearly 2 million so far under Barack Obama, easily outpacing any previous president.

And finally, as to your freedom, you are still free to write this kind of mindless nonsense and the gov't could care less. Hardly the tyrannical state you'd like to pretend it is.

Do you have anything to say about Versys?

I'm liberal and I work my ass off.

I have a Monday-Friday office job and what am I doing right now? Goofing off for a few minutes on the Versys forum while I work from home on a Sunday afternoon. Because I work my ass off. I always have.

And I'm near Elizabeth Warren on the political spectrum.

office jobs m-f 9-5 how lame and boring. I don't get wat friday means to your types.. I truly work my ass off, 6 days on a heavy 60 mile rural mail route. 1 hour commute each way means I have very little free time to do the **** I love.

But, I don't bitch about it on this forum. Not the place. We pay a dick load of taxes, and basically a third of my salary goes back to the man.. Horse ****, but I can get on my bike and rip across the country stopping at various hotels with 3g wifi and getting hookers and going to bars and shopping malls and car/bike shows, hiking to the top of mountains and fishing from a kayak in all the bodies of water we have to offer. **** could be way worse!

but "Obama" didn't do anything. He is a poster boy for the gov't. We can stop blaming and/or patting the presidents on the back. They are just spokespeople..

How about them sports teams?

This!

Anybody that is happy with our current administration, past administration, or potential future administrations isn't paying attention. Our representation is only in place to represent themselves.

If I promise to give you everything then you will vote for me. But then if everything is given to me then why do I have to work. But if everything is given and no one works then who's going to pay for all the givens. That's called Socialism and in the history of mankind it has never succeeded. Decisions you make determines your future - when everything is given there is no incentive to work for anything. I have worked since I was 14 and have no desire to support those who are given everything instead of working to earn what they get. Now - about the Versys.....

You listen to Rush too much. Have you ever bet to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Luxemborg? I didn't think so. The world operates like the game of Monopoly. Eventually one player ends up with all the money. This is O.K. if you are that player.

JMO...but it's easy to make social experiments work on relatively small, coherent groups.
Trying to extrapolate those results to the huge tangle of string that is the USA, I have my doubts.
