The 40W optional power outlet shown in their pic makes me wonder more about the capability of the alternator. Hell, a single heated jacket can draw 90W. Me thinks the electrics on the purdy new Kaw may be the weak link. I can't believe that none of the "motojournalists" investigates this a little further. Electric capacity is a serious consideration for many people who use their bikes for more than a sunny afternoon trip to Starbucks. This is supposed to be a serious sport touring machine. I don't give a damn about fuel mapping modes, I want to know if I'm going smoke an alternator prematurely because I use it.
