anyone have a gps on the V

I would like to see how you have it set up.

I am planning on getting one of Mikes touring shields when he opens up for the summer. And then mount it from those brackets. But until then I need a temp. set up.

Thanks,

very nice, that is exactly what I want to end up with. I am thinking of mounting it temporarily to that big silver bolt in your second pic. That the mirror mount is held down with. How do you like that adjustable shield?

Thank you

Speedy mount with locking Touratech mount, had to add a spacer between Speedy mount and Touratech mount so the Touratech mount would clear the windshield.

It came with the bike and not very effective , but since I use full face so not a problem with wind blast. Make the versys look a bit sportier.

I have used this same cheap flea bay handlebar mount on my last two bikes. Some guy in The Twin Cities was making them after hours at work!

The GPS is a Nuvi 550. I do use a camera strap for safety back-up. It hasnt fell off yet. By using the Rox Risors, it gave a nice spot on the bars to put it.

Also using a Nuvi 550 but on a RAM mount system.

What I like about this setup, is that I can quickly swap on my Contour HD video cam instead of the gps.

That is because the search only works with 4 or more charcters.

If you search "mount" for example you get 500 hits.

Good luck

Although I have had Miss Jaffa (Burnt Orange 2007 Versys) for a while, I still have a lot to learn.

I think that is real close to what I plan on ending up with after I get the new Shield from Mikesshields. Between that and the speedys mount. Thanks for sharing. I also bookmark the shield brackets.

Thanks for the reply.
