Orion Rising

The Shuttle may be gone but the next step is in the wings.

12/4/14 it launches! A unmanned test flight but it's on the way...maybe to Mars one day?

Or was that look THEN leap?

Positive and exciting news; thank you, Time. It will be nice to have something positive in the U.S.'s space program.

This is NOT a Low Earth Orbit ship like the shuttle was. Orion will be a high flier like Apollo was. It may look like Apollo but it 33% larger and a whole new ball game.

These guys don't say anything about it when I did a quick scan. They say Rocketdyne designed and built it. I didn't read the whole thing but here's a link.

And if it does? Big deal after all they stole the B29 and renamed it the TU4.
