I'm so jealous, Time! When I lived in Toledo, years before I bought a motorcycle, I loved to visit the Hocking Hills, and specifically Lake Hope. I liked to backpack the Zaleski Trail. Now I live in South Florida, and a couple of years ago, my family drove up to Hocking Hills for spring break (in a car). I was hoping for cool weather, but we got there during a March heat wave and it was actually cooler in Florida.
Anyway ... while driving from park to park, I realized that it would be an awesome place to ride. It's so beautiful there -- I've often thought that it would be appropriate to turn those parks into a national park. A non-contiguous national park.
People outside Ohio don't even know about the Hocking Hills. They don't know what they're missing.
