So Long Fast Eddie/Hello Pirates
Two interesting phenomena occur around these parts this time of year.
One involves a rather constant stream of Canadian vehicles headed back to their ancestral digs in places like Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat, Flin Flon and even Kelowna. It is sad to think I won't be able to go to a friend's hoose for about six months and practice speaking Canadian, eh. All sorts of motor homes, fifth wheels and diesel powered duallies are headed north. There must be a vehicle size requirement in order to cross the border.
The other not so amusing event is the reemergence of tat laden, head band clad, flip flop wearing two wheel riding pirates from their winter dens. This is Bike Week in Scottsdale and it is especially annoying. When we were little kids we used to see who could pass gas the loudest. It is interesting to observe that certain folks never outgrow that childish delight. In truth the burden doesn't last that long since temperatures over 100 degrees pretty much drives those fire breathing air cooled hunks of overweight metal off the roads again.
In any event enjoy the summer Eddie and thanks again for the radiator guard.
