Seen in the traffic this morning

Quite some time ago I saw this funky space age looking thing leaning around a corner coming my way at a 4-way traffic light. Both me and the guy on the bike next to me were staring over our shoulders as it zipped off. Was it a bike? Was it a car? WTH was that?

I found some hits online which said it was in prototype stage and not for sale yet. Then this morning coming in to work in my bakkie (pick-up) I saw it coming down the off-ramp, so I slowed down and took a picture, then I let it come past again on the next onramp so I could take another picture.

What a funky little vehicle! Should be fun riding that on some long sweeping twisties. No pictures from the front though.

Can't remember the name of the prototype though, was about a year ago that I last saw it in traffic.

Got the bike, got the bakkie... want one of these as well just because it looks so cool.

Very cool... Good for 185 km/h (115 mph) and 0-100 km/h (60 mph) in 8.2 s with the turbo-intercooled 659 cc 16 valve 4 cylinder. Then, an ECU tuning increases power from 68 bhp (50 kW) at 6,000 rpm to 85 bhp (62 kW) at 6,400 rpm, and maximum torque from 100 Nm (74 lb.ft) at 3,200 rpm to 117 Nm (86 lb.ft) at 3,600 rpm. "We have not yet tested the impact on key performance data (acceleration, top speed etc)."
