fuel transfusion

yesterday went out for a ride and met another biker who looked like he needed help ahh no more fuel it whas on a sunday so no pumps open close by only unmanned and i had nothing to put the fuel in

now this morning i whas thinking having a tube with me could solve this but i'm not looking foreward in getting a mouth full of gas any good ideas

you could try something like an outboard motor line with a bulb built in.

naturally thats a marine part so its 'kin expensive, but the basic idea should work.
whether its worth spending money on it I dunno... mind you you could always 'encourage' the person who ran out of fuel to to the sucking, after it it was their fault....

Thank you Mr Scott for the lesson on how to siphon fuel using only a clear plastic pipe without getting a free drink of petrol. I have passed this link on to my other motorcycle friends.
