Sjaak the World

I watched this video of a motorcycle adventure trip and thought it was great. You have to check it out if you're really into riding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThO-w9SCM8I

I didnít remember his name but there canít be more than one nut riding an R1 around the world so this has to be him. I met him at Dealís Gap. He was on his way across the USA. He needed sponsors and as the AMA headquarters in Ohio is not that far from the gap, I suggested he stop by there and see what help they could provide. Believe it or not, he had never heard of the AMA. Talk about optimism, no research, just jump on and go.

I heard that he's suppose to be travelling from the southern most part of the USA, across America, and then to Alaska.

He was at The Seattle Touratech headquarters this winter (January?) with a female rider on a BMW. They were on their way to Pruedue Bay Alaska, and were going to ride over the ice roads with bolts projecting from a special set of tires made for them. Both has circled the globe several times, suporting themselves with writing motorcycle
articles for European Bike Mags.
