Which state/province/terratory has the dumbest police officers?

Which state/province/territory has the dumbest police officers?

Currently Tennessee seems to be leading in this race.....

"Tennessee police officer Officer Jody Putnam has been fired after he tried to get rid of a squirrel in a Dollar General store by shooting at the animal and using his pepper spray.

Putnam was in the store in Mountain City when employees spotted the squirrel. Putnam first responded by shooting at the squirrel and then used his pepper spray. Even if one were to use lethal force on a squirrel, it is curious why you would use the gun before the pepper spray.

To make matters worse, Putnam did not report the discharging of his weapon in a store — let alone at a small rodent. Presumably, he hit the squirrel since it reported as dead as Putnam’s law enforcement career."

A distraught Bullwinkle has vowed revenge....

I would have to nominate British Columbia. Signs are put up nearing mountain passes stating "Snow tires or chains are required past this point from 01 Oct to xx April".

The RCMP have gone on the record as stating that the ONLY acceptable snow tires are those w/ the little mountain emblem containing a 'snowflake'.

Meanwhile the government minister responsible for highways is on record as saying that tires marked M & S (mud and snow) fit the requirement.

THEN the RCMP spokesman, in a TV interview repeated the paragraph 2, then said that they (RCMP) WILL ticket ANY vehicle during that time frame WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS SNOW PRESENT w/ M & S tires!

Makes you wonder WHO it is who makes the laws...!

Different compound and thread pattern makes for a snow tire

Softer compound for better "succion" on ice, different thread pattern for better evacuation of water/slush, also the compound stays soft at lower temp

Hence winter tire ...
