Ever built a motor?

From SCRATCH? By HAND? That can FIT in your hand and runs? Did I say it's a V-12?

This is without a doubt one of the coolest things I have EVER seen anyone do.

Or was that look THEN leap?

That's spectacular! I'm inspired to whip one together this evening, during TV commercials most likely.

All you need is a beer can.

Many of us will actually be better at reproducing an even more realistic engine sound, rpm and load, etc... The can technique works so well, I get chills at the resonance and harmonics created when he hits about 6000 rpm, but he's shifting too early.

Somewhere on U-tube there's videos of a fellow who built a WORKING model of a 1930's era car (sorry - forgot the model name) c/w V-12, transmission, lights, etc, and EVERYTHING works. INCREDIBLE.
