How’s your riding weather

Hope everyone else has better weather!! Picked up my new v650 yesterday so at least I got one ride in. Then today slammed with the white stuff. Hopefully it’s short lived lol. How’s everyone else’s current situation?

This is yesterday.

Then Welcome to today.

It'll be cooling off here a bit for the next week or so.

70s to 80s in the daytime, high 40s to low 50s at night.

The only snow in likely to see is if I accidentally walk into the wrong house in Stockton. Or, err... That's what I've heard.

Yep, same in southern Illinois.

I don't care what you ride, just ride.

Cold, wet, and windy is the forecast for Southern Ontario. I don’t like it, but I’m still commuting on my V. Because, well, I can.

It's was -1C this AM when I set-out on my V650, and has been AROUND that pretty much since I got back here from AZ, 25 days ago, but I licensed the bike on the 15th and have ridden it pretty-much every day of the 13 days - 729 kms!!!

Sorry you all are having such bad weather. Things are heating up here (95 F today) but we still get out to ride once per week. I am just back from a 5 day trip to S. California that was 1300 miles. We went through lots of weather changes on that one. Now we just go out really early (like 6 or 6:30 a.m.) ride for 2-3 hours, stop for coffee close to home, put on our cooling vests and head for our air conditioned houses. At least it is predictable. Good luck and a prayer that you get some better riding weather soon.

Yeah 95 is getting up there for sure. Not bad on the highway but any sort of city riding your pretty much a wet rag by the time u get to where your going.

As for here in Alberta suns out melting all the snow we got last night but it’s a slow go. Sitting around 3degC (37degF) today. No doubt it will be all melted enough to ride by mid week but being Western Canada we’re pretty much guaranteed to get hit a final time in May sometime. Then the rain starts in June! As bad as it sounds with all the fires the last couple of years I wouldn’t mind in the least if it rained all month stopping just enough to stave off flooding and land slides. All in a perfect world!
Just make the most of it when u can where u can!!

Picture perfect here in Central Cal.

Took a short ride today in 80 degree temps. A little cooler as I climbed in elevation.

Going to be in the 70's this week and the best part is....not a chance of rain, or thunder, or earth quake, or shark bite, or tsunami, or volcano.

The bad news is it's Communist California and the taxes and insanity have no end in site. Gas prices are now north of $4 per gallon and still climbing.

Guess that's the price we have to pay for the best weather in the nation including year around riding.

low 50's here in Anchorage Alaska. sunny, nice.

if I'm answering your question I assume the basic points have been addressed, such as: did you do a compression test? is it still on fire?

Tim - gas here in Kelowna just jumped to $1.499/L = $4.21US/USg, while in Vancouver, BC it is OVER $1.70/L ($4.78US/USg) which the NEWS guys said is the HIGHEST IN North America!

Hate to be the one to tell you...

No I don't. I think this is funny, because I track it closely.

You've already had 4 earthquakes today.

Yep. Not far north of you and nothing but rain... a bit of sunshine now and then but mostly rain. And wind. And to quote hawker jet, no shark bites... which is good.

Weather is all over the place here in KC. Last Saturday, I got home from a ride and it was 73F. I went to my daughter's soccer game an hour later, it was 69F. By the time the game was over, it was 53F. This whole week has been rainy with a 10% chance of sporadic sunshine. No worries...that's what rain suits are for ;-). I have a simple Nelson Rigg generic, fits over all my gear suit. It's a pain to get into sometimes, but I arrive dry and it rolls up nice and small to fit in my kit bag.
