First ride of spring, FS17..

rain in the forecast for the coming days meant a good day to ride.
FS 17 is good for about 8 miles in from the South Skagit Highway.
It is being cleared at this time and looks like it would be open to
Cumberland Gap, at the pace they're going, by the weekend. So here
are the pics...

Great pics, thanks for sharing.

It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

It is an '09 KLX250 S, stock forks, other than the 351 cylinder I've added the skid pan,
rear rack with chainsaw holder. dropped it one inch (gotten harder to throw my leg over)
and fold down mirrors, that's about it. Oh the cheap seat pad and Wolfman tank bags.
And a 3 gas gallon tank. Cycra hand guards, vibration dampening grips. The new ones
have fuel injection, the last I heard there is not a larger cylinder for them.

. I like it lots

I miss my KLX250S. Still have my Sargent seat on a shelf thinking I'll get a fuel injected one when a used one pops up one day.

For now the Himalayan is serving all but the single track duties that the KLX performed.
