Non-ethanol fuel provided 4% more energy in a real world generator powering about 2000 kw of load than 10% ethanol gas.

In small engines there is good reason for the belief ethanol is bad, especially because many times those engines sit unused for longer periods of time than cars or motorcycles.

And a cool video of an engine with a glass cylinder head, so you can see the combustion.

Thanks. Couldn't watch the video. I am fortunate to have a country gas station 1/2 mile from the house that only has non-ethanol fuel in both 87 and 93 octanes. Unless I am on a trip, that is all I put in my bikes, and of course all I put in my small engines.

Pulled out my Honda water pump after 6 years of storage and a little carb cleaner and she fired up.

The closest station to me that sells an ethanol free gasoline is about 80 miles away. Not quite worth the ride.

I don't care what you ride, just ride.
