The MSRP on these is 20k in the US, a little cheaper than a Multistrada S, and priced inline with the S1000XR. It has more power than both of them (175hp vs 160hp on the Duc and Bimmer). It is literally just a Super Duke with a bigger tank, saddlebags and a taller windscreen. Riding position is identical to the Super Duke R.
You would definitely need to own stock in Michelin or Pirelli with one with all that torque haha.
Maintenance is as bad as you expect. 9k mile valve check, 8 hours of labor for the 9k mi service according to the KTM dealer I asked, this adds up to about the same maintenance cost as a Multistrada.
