Burt Munro

Got so many holidays owing that my boss is getting cranky so taking time off around different motorbike events and the Burt Munro in Nov is a great place to start.

Kiwi off topic sorry but, did you say in a thread (which I cann't find now) that you changed 44T sprocket because it was wearing out and so was the chain? So you went back to stock? Maybe the 44T sprocket is not a good idea? Sorry should have PM.

Not a problem, The main reason I changed back was the oem kit with front, rear sprocket and chain included was cheaper for me than eac item on its own.

Probably my fault on stuffing chain as I fitted the 44 t after 15,000km which may of accerated the wear on chain sprockets. The 44 was very worn on its teeth so maybe a inferior made sprocket to the oem 46t?

Happy going back to stock gearing and since my wife is using the V at times I think it works okay for her.
