Is OK, that Harley should run away from those pushy bicyclists on the straights of 129.
...Wait... never mind.

I would rather have him slow in the correct lane than fast crossing the yellow.

Actually, the cyclists are not disadvantaged for handling the curves, and have all the speed they can use going downhill. Besides, the photo doesn't show who is faster... The Versys could of course leave them all behind.

Knowing who's faster, etc., is irrelevant with a frozen moment in time. Just enjoy it for what it is, and be glad you're not the guy piloting the two-wheeler that benefits from internal combustion.

A bad day on a motorcycle beats any day on a bicycle.

"Kevin was really hoping for a strait stretch of road so he could impress those those squids on bicycles in their gay shorts with what his Harley with strait pipes could really do."

I've been that guy on the bicycle, drafted off and/or passed many a surprised motor vehicle operator. I also referee triathlons, where *I'm* the guy riding pillion in the pack of cyclists, looking for drafting, position, blocking, overtaken violations, etc, while my driver is trying not to run over anyone or let anyone draft off us. Good times no matter what seat you're sitting in.

Someday is not a day of the week.

So there you go. I rest my case.... The cyclists can go fast, especially downhill, so the hog rider has nothing to be too ashamed about.

Except spending $25000 on a motorcycle.

It is amazing how many jealous people there are in the motorcycle world. Why can't you just enjoy your ride and let others enjoy theirs? and don't give me the "they hate on us line". I hope your mother taught you that two wrongs don't make a right.

Here I am on the dragon on my big Vulcan. Going the speed limit because I cherish my wife, and my job does not tolerate traffic violations. Still had fun and had nothing to prove to anyone.

From that same ADV thread. This was a terrible day for both the rider and driver. Hope both were ok.......

The front hub is completely severed from the wheel ... No spoke left connected !

Wonder if he did not have a problem before being unable to complete the turn and that problem got him to hit that perfectly good and innocent corvette ?

That one is making the rounds on various forums. That is what happens when you lose concentration while hamming it up for the photographers.
