So they recreated the Superduke. Well, I like that kinda bike, but I'd rather buy a Versys. Look at that tank: 100 miles range? Also, touring: hard bags, anywhere?

Versys is just right for a Touring Supermoto

Garage
I suspect it won't be long before they release a more practical version with some wind protection and a more comfortable seat, kinda like what KTM did with their 990 supermoto, when they came out with the 990 SMT it greatly outsold the original no compromise supermoto.

Interesting... Husky Nuda 900 with over 100 HP and only 386 lbs dry weight, but no passenger pegs. The 900cc parallel twin engine is made by BMW, based on their 800.

That engine started out as a Rotax. Do they still make it for BMW? Or did BMW take it over like they did with F650 motor?
BMW owns Husky now, and they've done a 450 dirtbike that is called a Husqvarna, but is essentially a rebadged G450.

now that I look closer, very "Rotaxesque" almost identical to F800Gs or very similar engine design

Rotax is a division of the the Canadian company BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products). They're the guys who make SkiDoo, CanAm Spyder, Evinrude outboards, etc.
