anyone have some old iron to show off?

here's mine.

65 pontiac GTO, 389 tri power, 4spd, black on black, rally gauge package. pops and i have been working on it pretty much my entire life (i'm 32). still a ways to go, but it's been one of those awesome lifelong projects to experience with my dad. runs like a sonovabitch!

whatcha got??

Your "goat" looks real nice, but why is it sitting so low in the back?

has an old set of air shocks that need replacing. might need new springs too but we'll get to that someday plus the driveway has a dip that makes it look a little lower that it does when on level ground..

Well, mine isn't an old goat, that's a great car!

But it is getting old and it's such a creampuff that it's become a collector car. I bought it on ebay with the intention of a driver for our teen son. I flew to Rapid City SD and drove it back to LA last year. Turned out to be a one-owner car that had always been garaged, 116K miles. And everything works, even the old push-button radio, the AC, cruise, and electric sun roof. It's all original and as close to showroom perfect as my brand new car. It's 32 years old this year!

My old iron is my '69 Honda CB175. It's in about 200 pieces, and the frame is at the powdercoater right now. I'll post a pic when it's at least party reassembled - maybe not until it's done but that might be awhile.

That brings back memories of my teenage ride, first car was the '67 GTO, and I also had leaking air shocks. I would pump them up before I left for town, but after a night of cruising, the rear end would look similar to yours. The cool guys had pumps, to raise and lower at will. Nice looking GTO. Mine was red with the white top, but I hated the red interior after a while. Still like to have it back, one similar(full restoration, 4spd with the hood tach) color model sold on Mecum for 68K, you can see it on their advertisements if you watch that show.
