SW WV Byways and Backways...

and a little regional history thrown in for good measure.

Recent slideshows have highlighted Memphis, Chicago and Delta Blues; and I would be remiss if this one did not give a nod to Texjas blues. The featured blues legend needs no introduction. I hope you find it worthy.

Had a feeling they might be more along the lines of "your" roads. Fantastic riding of all descriptions in the area.

Nice!

A new twisty around every corner...would'nt want to hit the shoulder on those roads as some serious offroading would be the result. Thanks for the history lesson too!

Dodging the coal trucks hauling azz w/ 30 tons provides yet more entertainment. They are not too keen on sharing the road. I try to ride that country only on Sundays.

And you're welcome.

Have fun but don't forget to remain aware of the coal/log/gravel trucks.

Hahaha!!

Actually, my cousin, who lives in Florida now, asked me the other day if I was interested in going home around Memorial Day. He's goin up to visit family & want's me to go. I'd like to go, but it's not going to happen this year. Maybe next year. I REALLY want to take my Versys back home & ride. Gotta put a few more ducks in a row first....
