I would probably have needed a change of underware after that. It was something to see the bear able to climb a ladder though.

The guy in the tree seems to know exactly what he is doing. It feels like he knew exactly that just saying something would scare the bear away without freaking it out.
The bear looked curious and not afraid or threatened all this time.

Also, I think the bear looked thoroughly cute and huggable.

I am going to make a few assumptions here. I think he was prolly an early season bowhunter. For deer. With all the leaves on the trees and his rubber boots. He prolly squirted some deer or fox urine or some other type of masking agent on his feet when he walked into his stand. So the bear just followed something that smelled good? I dont know. He prolly didnt have a bear tag just a deer tag.

I am unsure if I would have let him come that far up the ladder tho. What would you guys have done?

I would have been really nervous! The camera would have been shaking like crazy!

Wow! Bear seemed to look up in the hunter's direction quite a few times. I don't know how good their vision is, maybe it didn't see him? Good camo? I don't know that I'd have been able to wait that long to say something...probably paw on first rung. I would think that he would also be carrying a sidearm too. Just in case...

Awww cute little black bear. Look how ashamed he was when the guy asked him what he was doing.

siyeh,

A crossbow hunter up in the tree with a video camera?
Although, as times are changing, maybe even hunters don't leave home without a photo/video camera.
Motorcycles sure don't.

I'm sure the bear took one look at that guy's big brass balls and figured he didn't want to deal with it.

Wow cool.

Time alone with ones thoughts, is quality time.

They say there is a lack of jobs. Seems here to be more a lack of people willing to work hard, and take pride in the work they do.
