H*ll Yeah!

Riding up to my sweet's place last night I had a C5 vette in front of me as I came up to a red light. He kicked it when it went green and we zoomed up to about eighty five b4 backing off. My humble lil red V was within a car length the whole time.

Ride To Live, Live To Ride....no, really!

Last time I raced a car it was a Mustang. Not sure what model, but I could hear the blow off of a supercharger. When the light turned green he just sat there spinning the tires as I took off. Had all of my Givi cases on as well. At the next light the girl in his passenger seat was laughing hysterically. Just because you have the power does not mean you can put it to use.

The versys should be able to take almost any car on the rode (atleast up to 100 mph or so). there arent too many street cars that can break a 13 second 1/4 mile like the versys.

Power-to-weight, my friend. It is all in the lack of weight.

I haven't really tried to drag anyone with my Bandit but I have no doubt it'll blow the doors off 99% of the vehicles on the street. It'll do low 11s stock and with a little work you can get it into the high 9s. Glad to know the V has some balls too. I wonder if the results would be the same in a tradition drag. I'd bet you were riding in his slip stream and not getting clean air. Also remember he'll leave you in the dust beyond 100mph.

Saw a ZX 14 leftover at the dealers, 08, asking 9500.00. I asked him why it didn't sell and his answer was there was no where except the track to ride it. It will do a ten second quarter stock.

The V is my urban bike. It has plenty of steam for around town, and is docile enough to work well in traffic. The Ducati is something else, though. It's capable of 10 seconds flat in stock trim. Not as nice in traffic, but lots of fun early on Sunday mornings in the country. It's really difficult to stay legal with it, triple digits show up almost instantly.
