Except that most places call it football.

I've been playing for 30 years and love it. Someday I might be good at it but I'm still having fun.

I wanted to say football but then some wiseass would say Broncos & I'd have to end the thread in shame. So anyway I've played my whole life and I referee. We have some fair indoor places for the cold months.

Have just retired from playing soccer, but do miss how it keep you fit, played mainly as striker or wing depending on how our formation was, in the halves a few times but never in the backs as i would give silly penaltys away from my tackiling style as used to play rugby league before soccer but gave that up as body could not take anymore hits from some very big units haha

Defense that's were you'll find me shutting down the primadonnas. I like to center ref but doing the lines is ok too. As a player I don't try the offsides trap. Send the ball and let's see if you can beat me. I don't like raising the flag on that call, get running D. Sorry my rant
My 62 yo father in law is a ref also. He takes winter off but does high school, mens league , and tournaments the rest of the year. ... FOGs

Trading Brian Mullan to the Rapids really helped the Rapids and hurt the Houston Dynamo. Not that it mattered much to the Dynamo on such a lousy year but we'll be back.

Because its there
