Cooking disaster!!

Yesterday morning (Sunday) I waked up before my wife as usually.
I went in the kitchen, get a quick easy cake recipe that I saw on tv last week and I started to cook the cake for the Sunday sweet breakfast. I decided to cook the cake in the microwave oven instead the traditional oven, so I dig out the manual and read "cakes 19-20 min on max power". OK. I set the timer on 16 min. went on the pc to read my emails. I came back to the kitchen in about 7 min: DISASTER. When I opened the door I saw a black fog exit from the oven and fill the room!! Opened the window and put out the little smoked piece of coal...
The bad smell filled the entire home. My wife rushed to the kitchen.
"What happened?"
"Oh my darling! I cooked a sweet cake for you..."

In the evening I make the cake again, but in the traditional oven: simply wonderful!!

Nobody thinks that something is so easy like who is totally unable to do it.

Kinda reminds me of my wifes cooking episodes...She doesn't use the timer, she uses the smoke detector to tell when things are done

If I new what I was doing, I wouldn't still be working

We happened to set off the fire alarm in our building last night, cooking our Sunday night pork-roast. Pretty loud those alarms are, good thing I had some earplugs for us to use until the lady with the key could shut it off.
Just a bit of excitement for our usually quiet Sunday dinner!
Must have been a previous spillover in the oven, the roast sure was good!

Nooo, I can't believe, she can't be so bad as you said!! Ultimately she must have a bit of pizza and spaghetti in her DNA!!!

When you work in overseas project in countries like Indonesia, cooking is part of survival otherwise you will need a portable toilet with you.

Use to cook my daily food, nowadays its cooking for the 2 girls if they are preparing for their exam and studying late night.
