Noticed a popping noise in my videos recently. So i bought a set of Cat-Ears Mic Covers that worked to make the sound more clear but the popping was still there. Then i remembered that my old mic started popping when i pinched the cable once. So ordered a new cable it came in this morning so put the cat-ears cover on it and took the old mic out of the helmet. So since i took the pads out of the helmet i just went ahead and washed the pads and helmet liner along with my mesh jacket. Just re-installed the liner, pads and mic so will test it out tomorrow to see if it fixed the popping. Will keep the old mic for when i want to use the camera off the helmet.

What setting do you normally run with? Frames per second and size?

That mic cover may spark some interesting conversation

I have a Drift Ghost that i have set at 1080dpi & 30fps. The newer cameras can do 60fps at 1080dpi. The mic cover tickles a little bit. But i use to having a muff in my face....

Just tested out the new mic. Seemed to have got rid of the popping noise except when riding with the face shield up. Spotted a few female riders out today in halloween costumes. One was a big boobed honey bee...
