nice 100 mile ride and great food

well not only got my husband to ride his bike to work today, but after work we had a great ride from kenton down marine drive to troutdale airport then took high way to multnomah falls then then crown point were i ran in to a few people from pnw moto (forgot names sorry) up the highway to horse tail falls then the historic highway (not the funnest as sun is setting) to wood village for some great noms at tapatios

ya ive been riding and driving up there for almost 10 years now, its beautiful there in the winter and ya the water is cutting away at it , its funny looking at pics from the 60's of it. its over 100 years old now (as a tourist trap that is)
still fighting to get my husband to hike up to the top with me, its been a few years

I've been to all those places except Wood Village (did u get any wood?)..........I would put the Columbia "old" Highway as one of THE most beautiful & scenic rides l've ever been on, you 2 are lucky to have it on your doorstep (o'er missus!)

PS, it's a shame we don't get more riders ride-out photos............

wood village is just the little naughborhood by troutdale,have a great walmart,and sadly its not on my doorstep anymore not i live on the other side of portland

I stayed at Fairview on the east(?) side of town & l seem to remember Troutdale......There was a fantastic pub/hotel out there run by McMenamins called the Edgefield.....l had some happy times there!!
