Do you find yourself “Protecting” Riders when you're driving an Auto/Truck?

For example, when I see a Rider stopped at an intersection, I will switch lanes and pull up behind them, so they don't get run over by a moron on a cell phone. I know
there are other ways we can protect fellow riders. What are your methods?

If in my car and driving anywhere especially twisty hills pull right over to let them pass. Have had this done for me, so presume they are bike riders and appreciate they need to wind into the hills and not be slowed up.

No. Usually when I ome up on a biker they are a extreme douche bag, and acting like a idiot.

If I see a car tailgating a bike in the right lane of a multi-lane road, I cut them off and run them off the road...

Yeah, I’m kidding... but sometimes I will slip in between them & then brake — or at least make them think I’m braking
.

Yes, I will purposely make sure that I am behind motorcyclists and then give them space between me and the cars behind me. I don't want other cars riding up on them. I also give plenty of space for motorcyclists to pass and such.

If I catch them in rear view mirror, i will signal and pull over to let pass. To protect them , no need as most bikes here are super-rocketers so, they are far ahead of me and no speed limit for superbike here on highway

I find myself running blockade all the time......I know i won't run em down....even if the rider doesn't.
But I always respected riders on the highway even before i got my "V".
(I do the same for heavy truckers too...cagers are always cutting them off or locking them out).
