Just bought new Versys

Hello I just bought a 2007 V with 16,000k

Bike is fantastic to ride
I plan on doing a naked conversion for road use exclusively.

Basic plan is

Ninja650/ER6 tank (will pick brains for more info!)
Coolant bottle
Conventional fat bar risers with protaper FMX Pastrana Bend
XB12 headlight conversion.
Custom white and blue camo (snow) wrap
Blue painted wheels
Black (or something else) Powder coated swingarm
Black powdercoated heel guard/peg plate/foot rest assy
Chopped down pillion pegs
Seat re shaped for extra comfort and looks.
Some sort of minimalistic guage/cluster.
Sort suspension for road use (aggressive riding)
upgraded front brakes (maybe just lines, maybe mast cy too)
1- Front sprocket (maybe 2 or 3+ on back aswell)

already thrown a pipe on her and gave it a fresh service.
Clutch is slipping quite bad already

if you don't want to carry a passenger then just remove that passenger peg subframes. the main frame is strong enough for the rider without it. safe a few pounds.

lowering isn't needed for aggressive riding (people still drag pegs), but if that is your preference.

see if you can find an er6n gage cluster (and an er6n fuel tank for that matter)

I would personally recommend NOT to do this. There HAVE been some reports of issues w/ cracking....

hadn't heard that. seemed a few builds had removed it without issue. and it doesn't exist on the ninja frames, wonder if those have some sort of reinforcement hidden under the bodywork.
