Introduction of SandstoneSmitty "Howdy Ya'll!"
. A motorcycle is an independent thing. Motorcycle riding has been a passion of mine since my teens. I cuss like a sailor; I smoked cigarettes for many years and have never looked back; also, I ride a motorcycle... in Dallas along I-35E... so there ya go.
. I really love to ride my motorcycle. When I want to just get away and be by myself and clear my head, that's what I do. All girls like guys who are tough. Obviously, riding a motorcycle - I don't want to say that there's a bad boy quality - but there's definitely a tough and macho thing about a guy who rides a motorcycles and that element of danger. I look my best when I take my helmet off after a long motorcycle ride. I have a glow and a bit of helmet hair.
. The most important thing is to have a good relationship with the bike... you have to understand what she wants. I think of a motorcycle as a woman, and I know that sounds silly, but it's true. The connection to place, to the land, the wind, the sun, stars, the moon... it sounds romantic, but it's true - the visceral experience of motion, of moving through time on some amazing machine - a few cars touch on it, but not too many compared to motorcycles. I always felt that any motorcycle journey was special.
