Hello all!

i just bought Versys 650 (2007) as my first big bike. Till now i was riding only my scooter - Honda PCX 125.

I am very excited and cant wait to start riding it, but I dont have my driving licence yet...but im working on it

Hopefully i will be able to drive at least a month till the winter comes.

As a first thing i ordered the SW-motech crash bars, but i really hope i wont need it. Next thing on my list is GIVI topcase (i have the side cases) and maybe gear indicator.

You might want to hold off on the gear indicator, I too thought I needed one at first but found that 5000 rpm (give or take) in any gear is a nice sweet spot with plenty of torque left over for passing. Just a thought. Enjoy your new ride and be safe!

Yesterday i rode my Versys for the first time - my first impressions were...VIBRATOR...oh god, this machine vibrates soooo much But otherwise i like the bike so far.

Im gonna try and fix some of the vibrating part - starting with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzBebenAxXc

Then i will need to fix the mirrors - i cant see anything in them when im at 4000-5000 rpm

There are lots of threads about this, so i got some reading to do...

G'day from Australia,

Hope you never need the crash bars either but may I also suggest BarkBusters to protect the levers and handlebars. Between the 2 the bike is well protected.
