Central NJ Rider w/ Versys 650

Hello Everyone!

Newer rider close to 3k under my belt since December of last year. Started with a DRZ400SM. Found a great group of riders in my state. Shame is they mostly ride sport tourers or larger cc/fuel capacity bikes.

I love my DRZ to death. But it doesn't like the highway and after gearing it for dirt I don't want to see what it will do on the slab.

I have been reading/researching/lusting over the Versys650 so I went out and got a new one.

This is going to be an interesting ride. Brought it home tonight in the pouring rain. First time riding in the rain but not the first time on a wet surface.

I have done the MSF class a couple times, Cornerspin (will be doing this one yearly) and the Pine Barrens 500 intro class.

I gotta slap my Montana gps on this thing STAT.

Yes, GPS above the instruments. Mounted my Garmin on a Moto Werk universal. mount. Looks good and works well.

Thanks for the warm welcome and pictures. I emailed touratech to make sure their bracket fits the 2015. If so I will use that with the locking bracket to secure the Montana.
