wanting a new Versys

I am considering purchasing a new Versys, I figured this Versys form would be a great place to join for all kinds of info. From what I have read so far I would not regret buying one.

GO FOR IT!! You won't be sorry.
I have ridden motorcycles since I was a kid. Owned mostly cruisers and some dirtbikes. I bought my leftover 2011 Versys last year without even sitting on it , and have logged 7000 miles on it so far with no major complaints. Of course I have modified it just a bit from stock.......

Yes, modifying's a disease many Versys owners catch - very contagious but a lot of fun.

As a former owner of an 2009 Versys and now a 2015 650 LT. I'd say go for it. If you could get a demo ride some where it could give you a better idea if it's right for you. The name doesn't lie as it stands for versatile system which it is. Long days in the saddle, aggressive twistys, it's does it all for me. My 09 didn't have any problems. I'm hoping my 15 is as reliable.

I spent most of my money on bikes, booze and broads. The rest I wasted.

I'd like to have a bad day, just to see what it feels like.

I went from a ninja 250 to a 2015 versys 650 lt.... And I love every minute. Find myself on it way more than my old bike, longer trips, smile every time.

I used to do about 4k km a year, and after a month and a half I am already at 3k.

I bought my 2011 V without even ever seeing one... let alone test driving one. 20k miles later including a 5600 mile cross country trip (http://m.imgur.com/a/Lu0Mi) I couldn't be happier.
