You will be sorry. Keep the DRZ400SM and buy a Versys. I have a WR250X they I spend most of my time on.

I had a DRZ-S and a DRZ-SM. Huge upgrade moving to the Versys if you do mostly street riding. You will be amazed at the power delivery on the V.

They made some improvements in '10. Lotsa left-over '12, '13s out there cheap. Versys is a good road bike 'specially up one in front to lower cruise RPM.

Buying a Versys

I just acquired a new 2013 V and it's a riot! My street ride is a 2009 Buell 1125R which is focused on raw torque and horsepower, but the V is versatile, fairly quick, handles like a light supermoto and a blast to go anywhere. Coming from an MX background the V is worth twice the bargain price I got for it!

There you go. The 2013 is a great bike (no bias, of course).

Enjoy.

The ABS 14s are a great price also. One (emphasis one) DC area dealer had it for $5799+$144 handling fee for a total of $5943.70. The others all were $100 higher plus 400-600 in fees. - Tax and tags are extra -

It is the best priced ABS bike in its class.

the only reason I didn't go with an abs equipped 2014, is because I couldn't get it in blue. plenty of power, good handling and decent distance to a tank thanks to 5 gallon fuel tank make for a great all around bike!
