She had a CBR 600RR but it was too much bike. Thinking a Vstrom, versus, ninja or CBR 250 or something easy to ride for her to really learn on.

Welcome, how tall is the GF as the versys is a tall bike. Easy to ride, my wife rides mine and she is 5'6

First of all, welcome. Now my two cents. With my 29 inch inseam I can put the balls of my feet on the ground on both the Versys and Wee Strom. I chose the Versys because I feel it has livelier handling and I like the parallel twin engine. The Wee is very stable because of its wheelbase but I feel that makes it a bit slow to respond to the curves. I'm very attached to my Versys and intend to keep it, but if someone gave me a new Wee I'd take it (and park it next to my Versys).

She's 5'9" and 145. Whichever bike she ends up with, it can't be intimidating or hard to ride. She only rode the CBR to work one time:/
