Hello from South Africa

Hi there
I took delivery of my kawasaki versys 2010 today and I'm over the moon.
She is very beautiful in orange, the km's is a bit high at 35000 km's but she runs great. the only thing I noted was the chain is very loose and knocks when you gun it from pull and my screen is cracked. I will get it sorted asap. any other mod suggestions maybe? any help would be appreciated !

I'm new to owning a Versys and this Forum, but I'll be happy to valet your bike any time you make a pit stop here.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I had my chain tighten and waxed by my local kawa dealer today, sad new is it's still makes a load slapping/ knocking noise when you quickly pull away.
Any thoughts on what it may be?

when I replaced mine one part of chain was extremely tight compared to the rest as well as sprockets were getting badly worn looking like something capt hooks hand would be proud of

Seems like I have the same problem. Will ask them to have a look next week when they service my bike.
