Typical Lame Introduction

Hello. I've been intrigued with the Versys since it first came out, and now I'm seriously looking at getting a leftovre 09 as my primary commuter to free up my SV650 as strictly a toy. Been riding street since 1983, but it wasn't until 2004 that it became a passion. I've had an xl250, Interceptor 500 and a GPz550 when I was a kid and in my early 20s, took a number of years away from the hobby as I was busy building a career and a family. Now I hope to bring my boy up in the sport as well. We're both working on a 1971 CB 350 that I hope to turn into a nice little cafe for him to learn on in a few years.

Anyhow, if y'all don't mind I'm going to poke around to learn some stuff and occasionally ask some questions as I try to get enough money saved up to put down on my next bike.
